Christmas. It is the time of year when lots of things change – routines, our homes, the shops, etc. We may have more visitors to home and school than is usual and the giving and receiving of presents can be fun and exciting for most children. However, as those of us who live or work with children with autism and learning difficulties know - the excitement that surrounds this time can also cause anxiety.
At school, we have put together a pack of practical information and resources that may help families to prepare for and survive the festive period. We have made the pack available to download on the website (via Parents/Letters to Parents section) so that you can print as many copies as you would like.
