School policies and procedures cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference. We aim to keep these as up-to-date as possible. We can also provide paper copies of the information on our website free of charge. Please request them from the school office.

Supporting Children at School with Medical Conditions

Please find below our Health Questionnaire and Administration of Medicines & Treatment consent form. These are sent home each year so that we can update our records. However, if there are any changes or your child is on new medication, please print, complete and send the form into school.

Mental Health & Wellbeing Support

At Maple Ridge, we are committed to supporting good mental health and wellbeing for all our community.

It is known that children and young people with special educational needs can be at higher risk of mental health difficulties and, as a school, we know it is not always easy to identify mental health difficulties in children with SEN.

Therefore, an important part of our curriculum is providing opportunities for our children to develop the skills to understand and express their emotions, learning strategies to cope with the ups and downs of everyday life.

All staff, including Governors, are committed to supporting the good mental health of our community.
