On behalf of the children, staff and governors I would like to warmly welcome you to our Maple Ridge School website. I am very proud to be the Headteacher here, where we work together to secure the most relevant education for all, and always believe that anything is possible!

Maple Ridge School is a Primary Special School for children with Moderate Learning Difficulties, many of our children also have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. All of our children have an Education Health & Care Plan, and we work closely with numerous professionals to ensure that we provide the appropriate provision for each individual child.

We update the website regularly, with calendar dates for parents, class/whole school newsletters, and any updates explaining what's going on in school. Each class has their own page, which can be found by visiting the class pages section of our website.

We have a community room in school that is often used by numerous outside agencies, for example: Hampshire Parent Carer Network and Speech and Language Therapy Service.

As a school we have a charity called 'Friends of Maple Ridge' run by some of our parents, who arrange regular school events, and do fundraising to help raise money for the school. We also work closely with local charities, such as The Rotary Club, and often have fundraising events happening in school to support our local community.
